'Library' at Uovo Open Office Berlin
GAGARIN will participate in 'LIBRARY'. 'LIBRARY' is an exhibition curated by Adam Carr and for UOVO Open Office Berlin. Revolving around the idea of a magazine as possible location for artwork, 'LIBRARY' consists of a variety of magazines all of which demonstrate instances in which artists have utilised magazines as a space for art making. The resulting presentation emerges from an invitation to a number of international based artists to participate with magazines in which they have conceived specific projects, artworks or other forms of artistic contributions. Featuring magazines produced in a variety of places globally, the display comprises issues primarilly from the 90's to the present day. Ultimately, LIBRARY sets out to offer a short history in which the magazine has been used beyond its conventional means and used instead as a site for art and exhibition making.
